I mentioned in the last blog that Mike/Ultraraider won best paint at the Bay Area Open GT.

Shotdownmind was easily 2nd with a nicely painted/based Demon Army coming in 3rd(although no awards were given). Had I redone the ASM's and had the Army Painter varnish for the Stormraven I could've beat out the Demon...IMO.

General Bass, SdM, Ultraraider and I drank quite a few beers and discussed painting and painting theory...going forward I'll be using some glazing techniques that Mike went over. Good company, good discussion....good beer.

Garden List Update, Final Countdown. Rhino Completed!

So this is the final countdown for the Bay Area Open GT. I have completed yet another major piece of the list, the Assault Marine Rhino. I'm down to the Stormraven and 11 Death Company in 4 days. Wish me luck! TILL NEXT TIME....PLAY WELL, ROLL BETTER!!!

Garden List Update. Lord Commander Dante Completed!

So here he is....the oldest living space marine in the Imperium, Lord Commander Dante. He is the very tip of the Emperor's spear and the heart of the "Garden List".

Garden List Update! Sanguinary Guard Completed

I promised to keep you updated on the completed units for the Garden List, so here is a big one.

BATTLE REPORT: Garden vs Duke

One of our prep games for the upcoming 1850pt Bay Area Open GT event we plan to attend July30th & 31st. General Oadius and I try not to metagame each other and play hard mean games to test the limits of each other's lists. This game was Spearhead, Annihilation.

The Wolfbrothers Doubles League started Monday May 23rd and will end July 31st. We have three BIG prizes for this league that we will award at our Club event in August. Plenty of time to pump those games in. Same comp rules as the Sacramento Doubles Tournament listed above. If your not planning to go to the Contest of Champions, or The Bay Area Open, then you need to be playing 1000pt Doubles games!
