BAO GT 2013: Meaner than a sack full of Hellturkeys

Last month the Wolfbrothers descended quietly in great numbers from various directions to the Bay Area Open GT 2013 in Antioch California. The Hunt was plentiful and the competition brutal and amazing. At the end of the Big Fight, Liz Foster of the Sac City Punishers was undefeated and took the Big Prize - HOWL!!!

Multiple great companies went on the Hunt. Our local stomping grounds, Heroes Games and Hobbies outfitted the entire pack with Heroes gear and even sponsored more than a few of these mangy dogs.

The Event overall is was great in most ways. The Murder on the tabletop was not disappointing - you can start here for all the post-GT interwebz breakdown.

The "MURDER Machine" General Andrew greasing the wheels the night before the big action started!

General Andrew finished 5th and took home the Renaissance man award!

Caleb Wissenback won the Crystal Brush Paint Event and also fielded his award winning Dark Angels with Blood Angel allies!

Even though we stop to Howl - for the Wolf, there is nothing but the Joy of the Hunt!

Quick announcement

Hey guys, Makooma here. I just wanted to let you all know that if you missed the February twinlnked tournament then you missed a really good turnout. I teamed up with a new guy to the hobby, Kevin. He is the man who is paying me to paint his Dark Eldar. We did not do very well over all. (even though we lost to our last opponent despite the fact that they only had one model left on the table...) But when they announced the winner for favorite army, Kevin's Dark Eldar won by almost double the points of the next runner up. Needless to say this is good news for Warpsons gaming and I am looking forward to the next batch of horrors I finish for Kevin.
